Album - Beantown Band

Hailing from the heart of New England, USA, The Beantown Band is a celebrated live music ensemble renowned for their vibrant performances and versatility. Their repertoire spans a diverse spectrum of genres, from classic rock anthems to contemporary pop hits.

My introduction to the band came through Rick Poulin, the owner of Bristol Studios, a renowned facility nestled in Boston's bustling music scene just across the street from the Berklee College of Music. During my internship at Rick's studio, I received an unexpected call from Tim, a member of The Beantown Band. He extended an intriguing invitation to join their ranks, but there was a catch: I had to learn ten songs within a short timeframe to prove my worth.

Despite my initial unfamiliarity with the band's rich history, I eagerly accepted the challenge. I immersed myself in the music, dedicating every ounce of effort to mastering the ten songs. This unwavering commitment proved to be a pivotal moment in my musical journey.

The Beantown Band has established a reputation as a sought-after choice for corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions. Their ability to cater to diverse musical preferences and their unwavering professionalism have made them a beloved fixture in New England's entertainment landscape.

Under the co-ownership of Anita Connerty and Wilson Stevens Productions, The Beantown Band continues to thrive. Wilson Stevens Productions, co-founded by Tim Wilson and Kathy Wilson, has evolved from a corporate jingle and recording studio into a comprehensive entertainment agency. Currently led by Tim's son, Justin Wilson, a gifted musician with a captivating musical background, the agency continues to set new standards in the industry.

Recorded @ Longview Farms, North Brookfield, Massachusetts. (01/05/2001)

The Beantown Band's demo recording took place in the iconic Longview Farms Recording Studio, a venue that's hosted the legendary Rolling Stones numerous times. It felt surreal to sleep in the very room that is rumored to be Mick Jagger's favorite. The culinary experience at Longview was just as memorable as its musical heritage. With real mashed potatoes and homestyle cooking that warmed the soul, it was a gastronomic delight that I yearn to relive. I must make plans to return!
